About

Thanks to a generous donation, Peterhouse is now looking to award a 3-year studentship to a female graduate student studying for a PhD in the field of applied medical biotechnology, with a strong preference for a low to middle income candidate (be it because of coming from a historically underdeveloped country, or from a background non-traditionally able to undertake a PhD within a developed country.)

If a candidate has partial funding from elsewhere, Peterhouse will make this up to a full award. If a successful applicant has no funding from other sources, then their Studentship will cover University and College fees plus maintenance at the same level as Arts and Humanities Research Council awards. In addition, the College will fund the immigration health surcharge and the student visa costs for those international students who need them. Students who already have full funding are not eligible to apply for this studentship.
